OT - Jennifer Government

Just wondering if anyone has read this book by Max Barry. He had some online game called Nation States that I played, and then realized it was to promote this book. I'm not a literary critic... this being the second novel I've read in the past year (first novel being a Dragonlance novel that I can't remember the name of).

However, I found that this book was an easy read (took me two days and a bit of reading a few hours on each of the days), and it held my interest throughout.

Anyone else read this book, or even hear about it? Since it took me half a year to get it from the library, I take it that at least someone else knows about it.. or maybe that's just in Winnipeg?

I think there may still be a few FOFC nations left. Mine timed out about a month or so ago and there were still about 10 of us left at that time.

I played the game, but my nation disappeared awhile ago.. Alpha064 I think it was... I was just wondering if anyone read the book that this game was trying to sell.

The book was kinda blah IMO- very light, little or no depth to it. The concept was certainly worth exploring, but I wish Barry had taken the time to do a little more development.

Anyways, I made a Nation to destroy with anarchist policies.......woo hoo, even moved it to the FOFC region, 6 nations still there
