How is Wal-Mart differnet from companies that outsource jobs, that get the products made in third-world countries (atleast they dont charge a major premiun like Nike)?

To me, Wal-Mart does not force people who work for them to work. They have a choice (the workers).

Now that you mention it ... $139.60 worth, about an hour ago.

And to make it even better:
-- it's a brand new SuperCenter
-- the employees were {gasp} both hustling hard and pleasant
-- Everything from coffee filters to Hot Wheels Monster Trucks to Miracle on DVD.
-- In & out in just under 30 minutes.

And then I get this little gem to make me feel even happier about my shopping experience.

Anybody still wonder why they're so successful?

After 10 o'clock is about the only time you'll be in and out in under 30 minutes.

And yes, we're not supposed to talk about pay at all on the salesfloor, because it has always been ground for termination.
