Spring Fever - Who do you pull for 2

American Soccer season is comming fast. I cant wait.

I was just wondering who the poeple on this board pull for, any main US league is fine (MLS, A-League, D-3, PDL, not the damn WUSA tho)

I would say the Greenville Lions, but they're PDL now, and won't say when the games are. I'll say the Atlanta Silverbacks... great name.

SkyDog,

You seriously don't know about the MLS? It's been going strong for what... 4 or 5 years now? And that's not counting the little leagues..

hell, i know diddly about soccer and i knew that .. Of course, I was in the DC area when it started and the DC United won the first 2 or 3 championships..

I'd root for the NE Revolution as my friend got to play a little for them, but mainly I think Lacrosse season starts, I'd watch the Philadelphia Wings...brutal game.

Seriously. But that isn't surprising. After 34 years of reading the sports page quickly in the morning, I've developed what my wife calls an "automatic filter." I literally don't see stories about hockey, soccer or tennis, even if they are the headlines.

We have followed the U.S. national team around a bit (Kansas City, Birmingham, Washington D.C., etc), but now that we have moved to the D.C. area, we already have tickets for a bunch of Washington Freedom (WUSA) games, and plan on going to a handful of D.C. United games.
