I would prefer to keep HTML code enabled, to allow for formatting which VB Code does not allow. If anyone trys something funny, like posting malicious javascript, they will be IP banned quickly, without any right of appeal. Quote:
I hope to have a QOTM hack installed soon. Last edited by Ryan S : 01-28-2003 at 05:27 PM. |

I think it may be more important to get fresher quotes if you are going to implement the QotM hack.

Ryan,
Is HTML still enabled, or no? I was playing around earlier trying to post some HTML stuff, and saw that it was disabled. I could not see a way to toggle the setting. I notice it is on in this forum, but not in the PC Game Impressions thread where I was running the test. Is it forum specific? Last edited by sachmo71 : 01-31-2003 at 09:05 AM. |

I can't even test the import script until the old board comes back online.

Rassem-rassem *&%*&%$&^...
You know, I like this fast reply option, I really do, but when I go to add that fast reply to the thread, I always, ALWAYS, hit the damned "post reply" button, which of course takes you to the whole separate reply screen like it always has. Of course, when you hit your back browser button, the entire reply you had crafted in the "fast reply" screen disappears completely. Gone. Just lost a huge reply I was writing and I'm NOT going to spend another chunk of time to re-write it. Any way we can either hack to make the "send reply" button on the fast reply area of the screen more prominent so people don't hit the wrong button, or keep it so that our responses do not vanish when we DO accidentally hit the formal "post reply" button? |

Ditto, Shkspr.
Thankfully, Netscape 7 doesn't clear the form so typically I can just press back in the browser window. SI
