Somebody here (a while ago) gave me the link to that site.

Hard to explain what it is.....they have forums the following forums of dicussion:

General Questions (any factual questions)
Great Debates (not factual questions)
Cafe Society (for arts and entertainment topics)
IMHO (not sure how to describe it, sort of a catch all area not covered by other places)
MPSIMP (Mundane, Pointless Stuff I Must Post, pretty self explanatory)
The Pit (sort of like the FOFC fight club, but with a purpose. Anything goes.)

The place is a spin off from Cecil Adams columns from a Chicago newspaper, I believe.

Worth checking out if you have never been there. You can kill hours and hours and hours of time there.

for those who are curious, the site is back up.

I guess a water pipe broke at the Chicago Times and soaked the server, shutting the place down for a few days. Go figure.
