I am a Lions die hard.
I watched every game this year, and, sadly, didn't turn it off once, always making sure to see the game finished out. I am a die hard Detroit fan period. I skipped school like 5 times to go see my beloved Tigers play last year, and this year is no different. I've offically been with them through the thick and the thin, now it's time to crawl out and host a playoff game at Ford Field, because that place is one of the toughest places to play, and thats vs a bad team. Just wait.. Just wait. |

Just like DeToxRoxDVHStyle, I am a diehard Detroit sports fan. Lions, Tigers, Pistons, Red Wings.
Don't worry, Super Bowl 40 in Detroit will have the Lions playing in it. |

You guy's are ok in my book. I am a land locked Lion's fan in
Wal-Mart country (Arkansas). I have been a die hard fan for a least 25 years. I have never been to a game, but that changes next season. The Lions play in KC and I have access to season tickets. I might not make it out of Arrowhead alive, but I will die a happy fan!

My #1 are the Eagles, but I'm a Lions fan as well. Not a good season for me no matter how you spin it.

Born in Livonia - they are not my favorite, but I'll always root for them.

23 years of Detroit winters makes me an automatic fan by default. There is nothing I can do about it, really, it's not my fault.

Certainly am. Born and raised in Birmingham, Michigan. Never strayed from the Detroit teams. Never will.

Jeff Komlo. Gary Danielson. Eric Hipple. Chuck Long. Andre Ware. Bob Gagliano. Scott Mitchell. Charlie Batch. Mike McMahon.
"Another One Bites the Dust". Billy & Barry. The James Boys. Steady Eddie Murray and Jason "MMMBop" Hanson. Taking the bag off my head to admit that I'm a long-time Lions fan. That will probably never change. They can't get any worse than they are now, can they? |

Although I'm a life-long Vikings fan I've always had a soft spot for the Lions. They're one of those perpetual underdog teams that I'd like to see finally get over the hump someday.
I was particularly fond of Barry Sanders - one of the most truly entertaining professional athletes I've ever seen - and have always enjoyed watching the Lions play on Thanksgiving Day.

I miss Eric Hipple. Blue, you forgot Eric Kramer.
I am still upset with Barry Sanders, I am a fan, but still upset.

The Lions stink!! (Uh sorry, I was thinking of the Bungels).
No, but if you guys get Mooch than you guys have a winner on your hands. Joey Harrington needs a QB head coach and Mooch is just that.

Honoulu Blue --
I am currently living in Berkley, MI, right down Woodward from Birmingham. I am not sure if you've heard of it, buts only like 10 minutes away. |

Wow I live in Berkley too what are the odds of that I am also a die-hard Lions fan, this past season was my third year as a season ticket holder but I was seriously thinking about cancelling them until they fired Morninweg. Nothing would make me happier than to see the Lions have some success sometime soon, and I can't even imagine how happy I would be if they somehow found themselves in the Super Bowl in the next ten years. Let's get the Pistons an NBA title too! |

I've heard of Berkley, Woodward and Birmingham. Unfortunately, I live in the interior of the state, dozens of miles away from all of them. |

I moved to Chicago less than a year ago, so I'm starting to root for the Bears a little, but I still can't help but root for the Lions. My current FOF4 career is with the Lions -- I drafted Spencer Zumdahl, and he led us to a Super Bowl victory in his third season, then retired after his fourth. That'd be kinda neat.
I grew up in Grand Rapids, but for a while there, I lived in Royal Oak, a stone's throw away from Berkley. When summer comes around, check out Clark's on 12 Mile between Woodward and Greenfield. Really good ice cream there. I can't believe no one has mentioned Rodney Peete, the guy who would be the starting QB out of training camp every season, only to suck it up, get hurt, then get replaced by Erik Kramer, who would lead the team to the playoffs, barely saving Fontes' job. |

Ahhhhh...... the good ole days. Funny but then I always complained about backing into the playoffs and then getting beat soundly in the first round. Now, I'd give anything for that senario. Soon, real soon..... hopefully. TLK |

I'm suprised to see so many fellow Lions fans here. I'm even more suprised to see other people admit to having that affliction.
Through thick and thin, I'll never root for another team.

I certainly heard of Berkley. The comic-book shop I used to go to "Time Travellers" was in Berkley. I guess it still is in Berkley. It was on 12 mile. I think that was Berkley. I grew up in Birmingham, so I know all those surrounding areas. Berkley, Royal Oak, Ferndale, Novi, Pontiatc, Redford, Millford, etc, etc, etc. Parents still live there, so I go back two or three times a year. When it comes to sports its always been Red Wings, Lions, and Michigan Football. Well, I was a huge State fan when I went I was in highschool (like the underdogs), but then I went to UofM for 7 years (undergrad and law) and that changed quickly. |
