Just something I noticed, there are many different status for users here.

Grizzled Veteran (me, 3ric, cthomer, ...)
Division I
Division II
Division III
Rookie (Anrhydeddu, others...)
Start
Mascot (
Junior Varsity
Quaterback (that's Ryan S)
H.N.I.C. (SkyDog)
Defensive Coordinator (shorty)
President of the General Partner (QuikSand)

3 questions:
Is that something editable ?
Is it related to the number of posts ?
Is it determined by our 2 mods (Ryan S / Skydog) ?

Most of them are handled by post count. Ones like our alien friend pointed out are specific to them.
