Old forum "archive" - a.k.a. please save the flush puzzle...

Are the seemingly countless threads over in the old FOFC site's "archive" going to be transported over here?

I'm particularly interested in saving this thread.

I can back it up manually, if need be... but it still gives me chills.

It would be nice if after being imported they could be put back into the general discussion area. It always sucked at the old forum that you couldn't search the archives.

I'm not sure what the deal with this is. I edited a thread title before, but now you're the second person I've seen say this (wrigleyfield being the other). Is there any sort of time limit on editing the thread title? Or is it a problem with the program?

another classic...

For those who enjoy some of the older "battles" on the FOFC site, here's a link back to an epic discussion about CM vs. SaaP. (Not for the faint of heart... this features a "visit" from friendly Tris, whom many of you might know from the OOTP boards from days gone by)

Good, this isn't the thread that has the me vs Mac battle. We can just let that one die a natural death.

I got to the Tris part, and I just couldn't read anymore, it just turned into inane babble.

And did anyone else Wignasty was fairly reasonable and a contributing member of the community. If only he could have channelled that for good instead of evil.

Uh, you could say that. I think we ran through that issue more than a few times.

The one I linked above, though, was our last appearance from Grunion, I believe. I seem to recall he was moving westward... but I don't hink we have heard from him since.
