What do you get out of being a HT Supporter? What exactly are the benefits?

How much does it cost?

And, most importantly, would you recommend it?

Benefits of Hattrick Supporter

1. You can link to a logo for your club
2. Match kits
3. Press Announcements (one of my favorites)
4. Prize Shelf (display your trophies and ribbons)
5. Guestbook
6. See your players' faces
7. Assign jersey numbers to your players
8. Write quotes for your players
9. Federations (We have one up and running for FOFC members)
10. Private notes section for each player
11. A 'ticker' to alert you to events (raises on listed players, challenges received, HT-mail received, etc)

That's all that I can think of at the moment, but I've had supporter for a while so it is difficult for me to remember what comes 'standard.'

The cost, if memory serves, is about $6 per three months, or $24 per year. What I would recommend, and what I did, is to but it for 3 months, and use that as a 'trial run." If you're still interested in the game after three months, then you'll probably want to keep supporter as well. But if you grow tired of the game (some people do), then you're only out $6, rather than $24 for a whole year.

That's what I would suggest, at any rate.

Thanks!

Thanks, DK!

One question, though - what are 'match kits'?

Thanks!

I was in your exact position a while back, RPI, and I decided to try the three month and I love it. It's cheap and it's a nice touch if you spend a lot of time playing the game.

Yea' - I'm definitely going to get it.

I loved SimulatedSports Basketball, but was a cheapskate and never supported it. Now I feel like a cheapskate.

I won't let the same happen here.

Thanks for the tips!

I'm in! I'm hooked on this game, I don't mind supporting it! My goalie looks like a hooligan.

Just curious - how long does it take for supporter to activate?

Not long, it took about 2 hours for me. (I figured I'd be waiting till the next update)

When I bought Supporter, it took only seconds. All I had to do was logout and log back in. This was not the case for you guys?

Heh, now that I think about it, I don't think I did log out immediately. The next time I logged in, I was a supporter. Incidentally, can somebody recommend free web space to put a logo?

I have space on my homepage (Roadrunner allocates 5MB per person - I have nothing on it) if you want me to put it up there.
