Notes:
My scout regained what he had lost from the season before and got even better. I am concerned about my coaching. I will look at every available coach and scout next years free coaches. There are no better coaches available- and my coach doesn’t look that bad on paper. I’ll look for SDO’s coach next year possibly.

PRE-DRAFT TRANSACTIONS-
Notes:
I have high expectations for this season.
Designated WR J. Brewer Franchise Player.

Salary Cap is $113.1M, I am $21,400,000 under the cap as free agency begins. That’s promising. I may be able to resign some guys, sign a free agent or two and have enough for Brewer and my draft picks. I have the 3rd and 6th picks overall and have learned my lesson, I will trade those picks away. I also have the 27th and 32nd picks of the 2nd round, the 3rd and 28th picks of the 3rd round, and th3 27th pick of the 6th round.

I did not sign any free agents before the draft and traded the 3rd overall pick for a S and a future 2nd round pick. I lost S Goguen to free agency and wanted to replace him

Resigned-

DRAFT-
Notes:
With the 6th overall pick I am tempted to take QB J. Thompson, but I am weakest at DT and will take DT J. Claytor. In the second round I am again tempted by a QB, but I will take a G to replace FA Sebastian. I take my QB with the 2nd pick in the round. In the 3rd round, I am taking a S who never should have dropped this far, I will make the necessary roster adjustments to make room for him.

POST-DRAFT TRANSACTIONS-
Notes:
S J. Logan will be a free agent at the end of the season and I traded for a good S and drafted a good S, so I could trade him but I am going to keep him as he is a better return man than the rookie Kirk. I’ll just let Jirk ride the bench this season to watch and learn.

Going into training camp I just need a FB and a WR and I am $8,030,000 under the cap.

After training camp, my rookie QB did not pan out. Big bust. I just released him and signed a free agent, who will cost me more (including what I will still owe the rookie) but he’s good enough that I might be able to trade him next year, but being weak at back-up QB has hurt me in the past.
