Post Preseason Injury

Just needed to vent and this is with a coach who is Good in Avoid Injury:

Injury Report after the preseason:

Injury Report:

Matthew Richard, LB - Pulled Groin, full strength in 3-5 Weeks (Starter)
Kenneth Brady, T - Broken Jaw, full strength in 2-3 Months (Starter)
Tony Foreman, LB - Hyperextended Knee, full strength in 3-5 Weeks (Starter)
Ted Dow, LB - Broken Fibula, full strength in 2-3 Months (Starter)
Craig Devine, C - Broken Foot, full strength in 3-5 Weeks (Starter)
J.B. Blades, WR - Shoulder Tendonitis, full strength in 3-5 Weeks (Starter)
D.J. Martell, G - Broken Finger, full strength in 0-2 Weeks (Starter)
Eddie DeLoach, G - Broken Wrist, full strength in 2-3 Months (Starter)
Eddie Ingram, LB - Severe Hamstring Pull, full strength in time for the playoffs
Donovan Waterman, FB - Sprained Back, full strength in 2-3 Months (Starter)

Most of these are veteran starters who are rated 50 and above. Ouch. And I have 30,000 in cap room so no IR and sign players.

Update:

Won first regular season game on a 56 yards field goal as time expired. Got ball on 10 yard line with 27 seconds to go. Connect in 51 yard pass and then the field goal with a rookie kicker.

One more injury to my back up running back. 3-5 weeks with dislocated shoulder. Ughh.

Unhappy

That's nothing.

Last week I had a team with a 6-3 record, tied for the 3rd WC at that moment, just to find out 15 players were injured.

In the end, I had to put 7 players on Injured Reserve and 10 others were at least questionable, not to mention that the season was a total loss going 8-8 (thanks to a last weekend win.)

When it comes to Avoid Injury, Good just isnt. If you look at the scope of possible ratings: E-V-G-F-P, good is actually average. IMO it is critcal to get a Coach who is AT LEAST VG in Avoid Injury. Otherwise you are almost wasting your time...

I really wonder if the Avoid Injury isn't actually misnamed. What I seem to notice is that while I may get less injuries or not with a higher AI, I definately seem to get a lot quicker recovery time with these coaches.

Hmm, it seems to me that I get less of the minor injuries with the better AI coaches ( but again, could they be recovering before they even need be listed? ), and possibly less of the more serious injuries or not ( I've had some rough injury times with excellent coaches before ) but definately it seems they recover faster. Any one else feel like it works this way???
