Unbalanced lines
I absolutely hate when I see teams line up in an "unbalanced" line without shifting a tackle or guard to the strong side of the line.
For example, tonight I've seen Miami run a few plays where the line was unbalanced, but only in regard to which receiver was on the line of scrimmage. Basically, it made the tight end "ineligible", and the tackle "eligible". The tackle has to declare himself eligible, or he isn't eligible to be a receiver. So why not shift that tackle over to the strong side and switch him with the tight end? If you want to make the other team think, that would be a great way to do it. All that I can really see that was accomplished by this "trickery" was that it took away one eligible receiver from Miami. Sorry, just a little frustrating.
