2003 NFL MVP: it will be Manning or McNair
According to the press, Manning and McNair are the two frontrunners for the league's MVP award to be announced friday afternoon.
29 of the 48 ballots have been "seen" already and it splits like this: Manning: 10 votes McNair: 9 Jamal Lewis: 4 Priest Holmes, Ray Lewis, Tom Brady: 2

If it's between those two, how can you not vote for Manning?
He outperformed McNair in 2 head to head games, and won the division in the same division as McNair. I suppose some people will point to Edgerrin, and Marvin and say McNair doesn't have as many weapons. Yet, he has a better defense. So, I think that point is moot. |

I think the NFL MVP, if his team were in the playoffs, would probably have to be Tomlinson though. The guy had over 2000 total yards, 100 receptions, I mean, he was sick.
