Al-Quida - Just like the vietcong

Do you find that the Al-Quida, is similar in many ways to the Viet Cong? I mean how to you go into iraq and spot these people? They are middle eastern just like everyone else. I guess the only thing we do know is that there are no women or children involved with them. but, that doesnt mean that women and children do not support the al-quida.

License to kill gophers by the government of the United Nations. Man, free to kill gophers at will. To kill, you must know your enemy, and in this case my enemy is a varmint. And a varmint will never quit - ever. They're like the Viet Cong - Varmint Cong. So you have to fall back on superior firepower and superior intelligence. And that's all she wrote.

This is a hybrid ... of bluegrass, Kentucky bluegrass, featherbed bent and northern California sensemilia. The amazing stuff about this, is that you can play 36 holes on it in the afternoon, take it home and just get stoned to the bejeezus-belt that night on the stuff.

Similar in many ways but they (al quada) are in fact terrorists...the Vietcong could plea that they were merely revoltionaries trying to fight us for their freedom.

Not that I'm arguing for them, but Al-Quida would probably argue that in some sick sadistic sort of way they are fighting for their freedom. Of course they would be wrong....

but ya, I see what you mean

The Vietcong were Vietnamese with popular support backed by other countries who won the propaganda war and painted it as a nationalistic struggle.

Al-Qaeda are not Iraqis, and they don't have popular support.

EDIT - Also, Al-Qaeda deliberately targets civilians and has attacked US soil. The Vietcong didn't.
