My first thought was, he was so young.

My second thought was, oh, that's because I hadn't seen him in twenty years.

Me too. RIP.

I remember Night Court somewhat but it wasn't one of my must see TV.

Loved Night Court.

He was great in that. Sad.

RIP. This is one of the ones that bother me. Night Court at it's peak was as much fun as I've ever had watching TV.

Night Court was a favorite of mine and I just rewatched the entire series a couple of years ago.

Rest in Peace, Harry.

yeah he was the best. Loved him in both Cheers and Night Court. And he came back for those VH1 I Love the 80s specials.

Night Court was a pivotal 'role model' for me growing up as a tween raised by TV. Harry Anderson seemed like the Mister Rogers of comedy... very sad he passed so soon.

Could not have told you who played his wife on there if you gave me 500 guesses.

Alas, time has not been overly kind to DeLane Matthews. I'd advise just leaving her image as you remember it.

I googled her a while ago, and a lot of the pics that came up were for a role where she played someone with some ridiculous plastic surgery. So it may not be as bad as would first appear.

I absolutely adored NIGHT COURT, but he was not a good actor. It didn't matter as far as the show went though.

I loved Night Court, as well as Anderson. He had a genuine quality about him. As a piece at The Ringer notes, it wasn't far off.
