Quicken?

I've been using Quicken 2002 for a long time, but the party is over because my new laptop doesn't have a CD drive. Any modern equivalent that doesn't suck?

I assume you hadn't been using online banking with Quicken (i.e., downloading statement to Quicken)? You have to be within 4 versions. But as one that do complain about changes they (and everyone seems as well) make under the guise of improvements, the newest versions of Quicken do the job well. I can't recall the last time I used a CD but like everything else, you can download from Amazon.

I'd be curious if anyone had some cloud based business accounting software they recommend. Been using Quicken (2010 version I believe) which is fine but wondering if there is better stuff available.

Yes. I'm just looking for something where I can enter my receipts, balance statements, and have bill reminders. I don't want something that will keep trying to sell me other features or tell me I need to upgrade every time I use it.

Microsoft discontinued Money a while ago but you can download the sunset version for free still:

Download Money Plus Sunset Deluxe from Official Microsoft Download Center

Our band booster president recommended (demanded?) I download GnuCash to use for my treasurer duties. I've never used Quicken, but this seems to be doing the job so far, and it's free.
