FOFC Favorite Rock Act - Round 2 - Group H

Most intriguing matchup here is can the Cinderella run of T4F continue against the one of punk rocks legends? Also a though match between Steve Miller and ELO.

I'm fine with Steve Miller or ELO. That's a great matchup. I really like Tears for Fears, but they aren't getting past the Ramones. Terrible matchup for Green Day.

Passed on four matchups since I did not like any of the 8 bands involved. This round was only saved by having my very favorite band in it at #3.

I knew Supertramp would get stomped, but Crime of the Century is a classic and I definitely play it more than I do any of the Police albums. Super uneven output outside of that, though.

Pink Floyd probably my #1 of all time.

Pink Floyd vs NIN is a killer for me.

I love Floyd. They are true masters of their style. They revolutionized synth-styled musical pieces and grand pieces, melding so many different musical approaches with a distinct English take on the common man's world.

But I can't say enough about Trent Reznor's albeit esoteric song and lyric writing or his incredible ear for music accompaniment and building great beats and melodies through the use of off notes and lesser used chords. He is an uncompromising and exact but brilliant musical tactician.

I have seen both in concert and they are amazing.

I ended up rolling with Floyd, but this was one of the most difficult choices I have had to make.

Floyd in concert was awesome.
I saw them at Camp Randle stadium in Madison, Wisconsin.
What a great show.

Rooting hard for Tears for Fears.

Interesting to see Elvis and the Police and winning more handedly than CCR or Floyd.
