Wow, it is both sad and depressing when you see how far so many fall.

"She had recently been kicked out of her trailer park home for her hard partying ways"

Not disrespecting anyone who lives in a trailer park, as I know there are some nice ones that are basically retirement communities and the like, but going by the stereotype of trailer park communities, there are some pretty wild folks that live in some of these. Can't imagine how crazy you have to get to get the boot.

Apologies if they tried but how come Ron and Fonzie didn't do an intervention and/or help out some? Its not as if they are lacking in resources and network.

Knowing the kind of people they are/seem to be, I would have to think they did at some point. With addictions though, she could have lied if they were keeping in touch, stopped responding to their outreach if it was happening, or just was on this course despite theirs or anybody else's best efforts.

Not to sound mean, but imagine if you found out someone you worked with in high school had a drug problem? Would you go out of your way for them 20, 30, 40 years later?

Because of their celebrity, I think we assume that they're some sort of fraternity or something.

Had thought the same thing. We sometimes think of actors like this as family, but they're former co-workers, and like you say, ones from 35 years ago. Sometimes you closely keep up with people. Sometimes you don't.

Scott Baio did a reality show in 2007 called Scott Baio is 45 and single.

She appeared on it for one episode. THey were at some place doing an autograph signing or whatever. She didn't look in bad shape at all.

And they seemed like on good terms.

As for WInkler and HOward...I'm sure they DID try and reach out. Winkler especially is one that cares a lot for people. At least that's how he always comes across.

But you can't babysit someone really. Or maybe you can.
