Planning to go to Comerica this summer.

The Trop is a dump, saw a game there while Rays were terrible and it felt like a mausoleum. Miserable baseball experience, in comparison to packed Wrigley games I was used to seeing.

Can't believe I never made it to Camden, with brother living in Baltimore for a decade. But seemed like they were always on road when I visited him.

Ton of stadiums that I would like to see a game in, and have agreed with my dad to annual summer roadtrip to do so starting this year. So hopefully this list is a bit more interesting a few years from now.

Hate to agree, but yeah, the Trop is a dump and I hope to God they move the team to Tampa where the people live and get some revenue to support a decent stadium.

I think Wrigley is an unrateable class by itself. I'm visiting Fenway in September and I suspect it will be the same.

Beyond that, Camden is easily my favorite. Kauffman is next for me- it's not in a good location downtown but the fountains are unique. I think other underrated parks are Arlington (the OF design is really unique) and Coors (Purple Row, Rockpile, unique atmosphere for baseball). I don't quite understand why AT&T and PNC get a lot of love as so many of the new parks seem very cookie cutter to me. I don't see much that separates them from, say, Petco or Nationals Park or Busch. Pittsburgh has that nice walk up to PNC across the yellow bridge and AT&T has the uniqueness of the water landings but I guess I don't put as much stock into those.

Went to 4 different parks for Spring Training this year- if you want to see some variety, in the way that AAA parks have some variety- that's a good way to get a lot all at once. Oakland plays in an old dump (hey, like in the regular season!), Royals/Rangers and Padres/Mariners play in combo complexes with lots of practice fields, and the Cubs have a brand new state-of-the-art miniature Wrigley that seats 15K.

There are 8 stadiums within a 6 hour drive from Indy (Cincy, Detroit, Chicago x2, Milwaukee, St Louis, Pittsburgh, and Cleveland).

We made it to 7 of them (stupid rainout in Detroit prevented it from being 8).

I have also been to Harry Grove Stadium (Frederick Keys) and Jackie Robinson Ballpark (Daytona Cubs); I don't suppose they really count, though the latter is historic in that it dates back to 1914. I was also able to somewhat peer into Exhibition Stadium, but that was after it had already been replaced by SkyDome (by about a month).

Fenway gets an asterisk because I did visit it but not for an MLB game. I was in Boston for I think a Sun/Java conference (or was it Perl? *shurg*) and stayed at a HoJo that was nearby at the time. They happened to be playing the Beanpot Tournament while I was there, so I was able to walk in (I don't even think they sold tickets back then) and basically sit anywhere in the park I wanted to. Which I did, changing sections about a half dozen times.

PNC Park was fantastic, and I'd love to visit it again. Maybe when it is cooler and the Pirates aren't as good. (it was *packed* when we went). There's no excuse for me not making it down to Nats Park.

Nothing like the smell of hot dog juice and piss embedded in the concrete and wafting out across the cool night air. It had character. Yankee stadium was a hell hole and Shea was just sterile.

I'm biased towards Safeco due to familiarity, but it really is a well-designed park. I suspect I'd really like Coors Field too, as that was reportedly the most significant influence on the design of Safeco.

Fenway and Wrigley are each amazing time capsules, and I loved the atmosphere around both. Yankee Stadium was impressive for the sheer size of it, especially having just visited Fenway less than a week prior.

I liked AT&T Park a lot, and it's a fantastic park in an unbeatable location, but I was a bit disappointed in the details of the design - I had seats that had some of their view obstructed due to the design of the stairs and handrails, and the angle of the seats were not ideal.

The Kingdome was an awful venue for baseball. Just terrible. Didn't help that for the vast majority of the time the M's played there they sucked.

I hate that the Rays still have to deal with that stadium and that attendance while winning over the past few years. Would have hoped that the community could respond with a better baseball environment for a franchise that seems to have really dialed into how to compete in MLB, this year notwithstanding.

Been to the Big O in Montréal to see the Expos during what I think was their last season there, and Shaw Park in Winnipeg to see the Goldeyes of the Independent League.

So Shaw Park is by far the nicer park.

Old Yankee Stadium, my very first MLB game where I saw Ralph Terry win his 20th game, is my favorite place simply because it was the Cathedral of Baseball. No place else ever like it.

Polo Grounds had my favorite memory. Part of a bunch of kids, before the game, we went down to the LF bullpen where people were lowering their programs on a fishing line to have them autographed. We knew the players had had enough when the final program came up on fire.

Veteran's Stadium, a filthy dump reeking of vomit, perfectly Philly. Of course that game went into extra innings.

My favorites would be Kauffmann and Camden Yards. Lots of really fun buildings and museums to explore around Camden that many people often miss. The Babe Ruth Birthplace Museum is fantastic.

Kauffmann is obviously my hometown park. It should be noted that 'New' Kauffmann is what I'm nailing down as a favorite. It wasn't that nice before, but it's top-notch now and is really under-appreciated by the national audience. I get a lot of visitors from out of town who come into the winery while in town to see some games. Almost every one of them comments about how beautiful the stadium is.

Given that a good portion of the population in St. Pete are retired New Englanders, it's no wonder they wouldn't support a new stadium.

I think the mantra during the relocation attempt (2008) in St. Pete was, "Let it burn!" while the younger Tampa patrons and it's suburbs were begging for baseball to be closer yet are powerless. It's a shame. The 27 year lease with St. Pete was a deal with the devil.

Baseball can thrive in the Tampa Bay area but while MLB sits around doing nothing, the NHL is grabbing up all the season-ticket holders and laughing their way to the bank.

It feels like I should have been to more, but I have only been to Dodger Stadium, Angel Stadium and the old Yankee Stadium. I specifically made a trip to New York to go there in 2008 befor ehtey closed up shop.

I haven't had enough experience with ballparks to offer up opinions. Of course, I think Angel Stadium is a solid and pleasant stadium to go see a game, and Dodger Stadium is always classic.

I still find it strange to realize that, after the obvious ones (Wrigley and Fenway), the two LA stadiums are the oldest stadiums still in use left in baseball.

It has been a goal of mine to see the one close to me in the near future, so hopefully I will soon visit Petco, Ball One (or whatever it is called now in PHX) and the Bay Area stadiums. I particularly want to check out AT&T.
