Are you a Rush fan?

From here: IWS #219 - The Results - Front Office Football Central

And just to be clear, we're talking about: Rush (band - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

My wife and I love Rush. More interestingly, they're my 15 year old daughter's favorite band.

I've seen them once live.

My favorite part of the show wasn't necessarily RUSH, rather all the air drummers keeping up with Neil Peart

Love their stuff from the 70's - early 80's, not so much on the recent music.

Definitely appreciate their talent as muscians

put OMG yes, because growing up I listened to them every day... like the "all the worlds a stage" phase the best.... Hemispheres, Permanent Waves, Moving pictures (before it got all played out)....

But apart from one time last year, when I downloaded "La Villa Strangiato", I barely listen to them now...

I think it's just a matter of having heard the stuff so many times when I was younger.... don't really dig the "new" stuff all that much....

I think some of their songs are great right up until the vocals kick in.

I do like a few tracks inspite of Geddy Lee's voice, but in general I just find him pretty much unlistenable. And this is despite the fact that I usually have no issue with vocalists - hell, Eloy is one of my fave bands, and they had a heavily-accented German singing in broken English.

Actively dislike is not a strong enough statement to encompass my hatred of this band. I think they are annoying as shit and sometimes I'll blast Tom Sawyer(and go outside) when my daughter is being annoying. All we had growing up is Classic rock radio basically. I remember the summer that the Roll the Bones turd came out and they couldn't play it enough.
