What's the worst day of the work week?

I know everyone thinks Monday is the worst traditionally, but I've started to think that another day might be worse.

This week happens to be Thursday for me because all last night I kept thinking "awesome, Friday is tomorrow".

But went with Tuesday as the normally worst day. Mondays aren't great but you can kinda slide into them a little, depending on what you do I guess. I also tend to be very punctually out of the office these days on Moday whereas the middle 3 days I'm staying a bit later. By Tuesday, you have to be alert, focused, and completely ready for business with no excuses & have most of the week ahead.

Agree with this. I went with Tuesday / Wednesday. Monday I don't have a huge problem with because my first day of the week is usually not bad, but I get a bunch of stuff out of the way and still have 4 more days of the week to go. Tues/Wed are the biggest slog.

I went with Tuesday for this same reason. Don't get me wrong- I hate Mondays with the passion of 1000 suns. However, at work, no one wants to do anything Monday morning so the "slide into them" is a great description. No one wants to call any Monday morning meetings so it's a good time to actually get work done. You can get drug into stupid crises on Monday afternoon but people are mostly wanting to leave early, too. But those come to a head on Tuesday morning.

I voted Thursday.

I work a little different of a schedule where I work from 8-7 on Wednesday and 7-1 on Friday, so I get an early start to my weekend which I love.

Thursday is a beatdown since I work a really long day Wednesday, then have to do a full day Thursday. I feel like I am at the office for one long day from 8 AM Wednesday until 4 PM Thursday.

My initial vote is Monday, but after re-thinking it, I'd vote Wednesday. Wednesday is this arid wasteland with no relief in sight. You've dealt with all the Monday and Tuesday crap, but it's not like Thursday where you can say Friday's tomorrow.

Not even close for me, Tuesday is first, since that's when it seems most of my challenges come from medical practices and internal issues, that everyone seems to find Monday and now needs handled ASAP.

Monday is second, just because it is Monday!

Friday is easily my worst day.
Most of my customers/accounts work half days and quit at noon, which means they all want the same amount of demands from me condensed in half a day.

Add that wiyth my entire support staff being mentally checked out by 9AM and yeah...kind of hate Fridays.

I voted Friday (and only voted for one day) - but, my schedule is different. I work an 11 hour Friday-Monday shift .. So, Monday, Tues, Wed, & Thurs are all good days for me. Friday isn't terrible, but I don't hate my job, and the first day back takes a few minutes to get in the groove again.

Monday and Wednesday, because those are normally the days we work the longest. 4 p.m. until 4:30 a.m., the other days we usually finish by 2 or 3.

Tuesdays have always been my worst day. On Monday, I am well-rested from the weekend and usually full of energy and adrenaline. That alone kinda races me through a Monday. By Tuesday morning, I will have gotten less sleep two days by then, have lost my original energy and still have four full days of work ahead of me.
