Why is Cincinnati always open? Would it be possible to trade my roster and picks to them so I can be the Bengals? Maybe someone will be more interested in being the Redskins. I'm only 96% kidding.

It's a shame because, assuming they draft a WR at 1.2, Cincy is probably they only team that might be able to run with Pittsburgh for the next couple of years.

With the crop of receivers in this draft, they can probably get a solid one in the 1st and 2nd rounds.

There is talk in Cinci that they're looking for a red witch to run the franchise..

I am interested but have not played in a FOF multiplayer league in forever (probably since the FOF 2k7 came out). So my question is what all would I need to do in order to join?

From the league files page:
CCFL SCHEDULE AND FILES

Get the "complete" file to get all the old season state files
http://www.younglifenorthdekalb.com/...l_complete.zip

..then get the latest league file from the list
http://www.younglifenorthdekalb.com/...528_export.zip

Unzip the contents of those files into your leagues folder, and you ought to be good to go.

Okay the file was imported fine and I signed up for the conscriptor. So what kind of time do I have to go through the interview process to find out who to pick as well as figure things out regarding the cap and free agents? From what I read really quick the cap is basically 75% of the actual cap? Any of you vets in the league please point me to or advise on some of the things I should know.

interviews wont do you any good because your pick is up in the draft. if you interviewed someone now you wouldnt see the results til tomorrow's sim is posted

as for cap, what space you see in game is what you have. you dont have to worry about doing the math, it is adjusted in game

next free agent sim is tomorrow. the league moves fast: sim a stage a day, basically.

edit: you should ask your questions on the ccfl board. easier for people in the league to help you out there

CCFL should stand for Constantly Challenging Football League. Good place to test your mettle, and working around the cap crunch is one of the best parts.

Humpty bumpty. We've converted to FOF7 and are moving smoothy. Of course we lost a few owners in the transition, but the league is *very* vibrant. Here's what is available now:

CCFL: Arizona Cardinals Roster
CCFL: Dallas Cowboys Roster
CCFL: New Orleans Saints Roster
CCFL: St. Louis Rams Roster
CCFL: Tampa Bay Buccaneers Roster
CCFL: Cleveland Browns Roster

Oh...the their draft picks in the upcoming amateur draft are here: CCFL DRAFT PICKS

This offseason happens to be a GREAT opportunity to sign some key free agents. Just a quick look at the FA class tells me that all of the following will be available.

  • A 75/75 RB and four others in the 50s.
  • A 74/74 TE
  • 7 WRs rated 50/50 and up, including one 70/70 guy and two guys in the 60s.
  • 6 OL rated 60/60 or better.
  • DEs rated 65/65 and 77/77.
  • Four Lbs rated 60/60 or better, including an 87/87 guy.
  • 8 DBs rated 50/50 or better, including three rated in the upper 60s and low 70s.

Down to only two teams left: New Orleans and St. Louis. FA1:2 is going to be run on Tuesday morning, so you've got time to get set up and situated before that important stage.

One team left. A little over 12 hours until the FA1:2 sim. Someone needs to grab New Orleans to complete the circle.
