Mutant League Football Kickstarter

So many awesome memories of both MLF and MLH. Pledging to this, hoping like hell they hit their goal.

Possibly - however apparently the chap doing it was the original developer of the game; its possible that rights reverted to him when EA ceased being involved in the product ... its entirely down to how things were structured (so I'm keeping an open mind at present).

I am also looking at Cyanide Studios and Games Workshop, with Blood Bowl out in electronic copy I could see them saying not so fast..

Totally separate products and Mutant League Football is protected under prior art (if you're interested there are also several other similar games both computer and board game which would give further protection against such an attack).

Ok, I loved MLF back in the hey day but with how protective GW has been, I was worried...

Can't imagine Hip Hop Trivia was a big seller back in the day.

Kickstarter is now entirely devoted to nostalgia products for the 35+ crowd. Wonder if it will transition into incontinence products when we're 60+.

Mutant League Football was amazing. I haven't checked the kick starter yet, but I'm hoping it's a unrealistic and over-the-top type of game... personally, I'm craving a sport game where I'm not concerned about the realism of pass defense, season assist totals, or rushing yards... just give me a MLF/Speedball type of fantasy sport/rpg affair where I can switch off and bash some skulls.
