In-game, go to the "SETUP" tab and see if there aren't some specifics listed there. From that screen, you can export to FTP.

exports are handled in the game client (similar to ootp). When you've done all your recruiting orders, go to the "setup" screen for your team and click "export team file to FTP".

Once you've done that you can check: FOFC FBCB Export Tracker, and you should see Ohio State listed there.

dola, sorry, i'm behind. I think we've seen people with that problem before, I forget the solution though. First thing I can think of to try is to run the game in Administrator mode.

I'll look around and see if I can't find what the fix was for that in the past.

Already running in Admin mode.

I saved it before exporting, am I supposed to do that?

double dola, in the meantime you can go into set up and click "Export team settings to file".

That will create an OhioState.exp file in C:\Users\Public\Documents\GDS\Fast Break College Basketball 2010\leaguedata\FOFC FBCB\teamfiles

E-mail that file to me rdixon AT gmail DOT com. That way I'll have your export so we don't have to worry if we can't figure this problem out immediately.

I have some errands I need to run, when I get back I'll see what I can figure out.

Radii runs a pretty laid back league. I was in it for a pretty good amount of time and had a horrible record but I took over Central Arkansas when they had all walk-ons. Thinking I might take the plunge with one of the 2 team added again.

Eh, screw it. Put me back in Radii (my coach is still active Mike Murray). I'll take Incarnate Word since I love horrible teams in the Southland. Do they have a roster? Web page shows they don't.

woohoo! I added you and uploaded a new file, you're ready to roll.

They have a roster, yup, I think they were a new addition this year, the last time I generated HTML was probably just after they got added before I simmed to the point that a roster gets created.

Wow. Reading that post from the old forum makes me realize how many old coaches I would have recognized from this forum, if I had only been on this forum at the time!

(Duh, this is the _FOFC_ FBCB league, after all...)

I've been playing this game a lot lately and this league looks like a lot of fun. Just signed up for the forums.

I think I'd like to start out at a mid-major. I'd like Central Michigan.

you're activated on the forums. I won't be able to get you added in game tonight though. I'll do it during the day and if you're able to get recruiting in tomorrow any time I can delay the sim until later in the evening.

I should be all set. The export seems to work correctly. Let me know if anything is wrong with it.

Lathum,

were you able to get this working? The post saldana was referring to:

Quote:
Solved the problem, here's how (in case someone else is having the same problem):

I did a little searching online and came to the conclusion that a .dll file wasn't registering correctly. So I opened up a command prompt with "run as administrator" privileges. In Windows 7, if you search for 'cmd' from the start menu, you can then right-click on the result of the search and choose "run as administrator". Once the command prompt opened, I navigated to the game folder (in my case, "c:\games\fast break college basketball 2010"). In that directory I noticed a file called "ChilkatFTP.dll". So I typed "regsvr32 chilkatftp.dll" and hit enter. The result said something like "ChilkatFTP.dll registered successfully". Now when I go back into the game, the FTP part worked just like it should, uploading my export.

I played in this league for a couple seasons way back in the day. Been feeling the itch to fire up the game again, so figured I'd give it another go. Just signed up for the forum as EvilLincoln.

1 month per 3 sims (2 sims for November). Then things slow down in March with postseason tournaments afoot.

With the tourney going on, i figured I'd bump this thread, and see if anyone else is interesting in joining.

Final 4 sim happening very soon. Unbeaten Michigan St is taking on North Carolina!

Offseason right around the corner. Perfect time to join!

Bump, offseason starting, join up. More owners, the better.

Notre Dame is available. In our world, the have become an elite program always challenging for final four's and conference championships(ACC Now!)

Big Ten could also use more owners too!
