I'm going to the RMAs ! ?

I got comped tickets in vegas at the alladin to the Radio Music Awards RMAs -- held next monday, broadcast live (i think) on nbc -- oct 27.

The crap thing is that i've never heard of these awards and nobody will confirm who is appearing and who will play -- i've heard rumors that Michael Jackson is supposed to appear which would be really weird -- hope U2 or at least 50 Cent or Linkin Park or Coldplay perform. Rumor too that Ryan Seacrest is hosting -- that would kinda suck.

I'm just bringing an ex=girlfriend with me, which is a shame because this is a perfect "impress a date" weekend in vegas.

Anybody got any more info on this sham award show -- all i can find on the net is rumors and info about the 2001 awards (guess they skipped 2002).

Ex-girlfriend, eh? That may not mean it is a bust, unless she gets picked up by somebody else while you're there. If she does that, I'd leave her in Vegas.

Just a quick one --
Major celeb encounters:
Coolio, Mark McGrath (sugar ray), Beth S. (Real World LA and playboy), Joe Jackson (Michael's Dad), Thomas HitMan Hearns, Frank Thomas, Juliet Lewis, Penn and Teller, Dennis Rodman with Brande Roderick (PMOY), plus lots of B list reality show people and boy band guys who i couldn't be bothered with.

Overall it was fun, i would have partied with more pseudo celebs but my date (exgirlfriend) and myself kept getting into fights and that petered out the partying a bit.

I'm sure you all have eagerly been awaiting this report...
