TPF.net - Inside the Beta Diary #4

This time around, we have a good one for you.

I asked Steve McCarthy to write a diary. Many of you may know Steve as Tiger Fan over on the OOTP boards. You probably also know the awesome job Steve has done with his HOB, HOB2, and HOB3 Dynasties. He has done some of the finest Dynasty writing out there. Thanks to Steve for another great piece of work.

I guess you want to read it now don't you?

Here it is!!

Great post. I think it may have won me over in regards to purchasing TPF first.

I can't wait til this game and FOF2004 come out. So many good games (hopefully), so little time.

Wow, QS... you have a challenger!

Yes, TPF should be a nice addition to the football lineup still to come this year!

Excellent read. Really gets the interest up for the game and gives some great info on the draft and off-season process.

I would love to see more screenshots from these diaries... Would really help to show exactly what's being described. I'm interested to hear more about how scouts rate the players, whether you have more than one scout, etc.

Hats off to TigerFan and Quiksand! It looks like it could be a good year for football sims. That description of the draft in TPF shows a lot of promise.

The Kiper-like character will make things a lot more fun during the draft--particularly if he comments on picks throughout the entire draft, rather than just the first round.

That diary got my interest in TPF back up.

I agree. I hope the comments are varied enough to keep it interesting.
