Thumbs up Just watched Chasing Amy for the first time..

What a great movie.. It's not a movie to watch with other guy friends, but it's a very very good movie to watch. I don't know if I should be afraid to admit it, since it's more of a love story involving gays and lesbians than a comedy, although it does have some really funny moments.

But.. anyone else think this movie was just brilliant? Or powerful? I don't know what word to use to describe it.

I think it is easily Kevin Smith's best movie.

I thought it was great until the last 10 minutes. It's like they had a great idea for a movie, couldn't figure out how to end it properly, got to crunch time, and then said "Fuck it."

Awful, awful ending.

For them I would say, "I suck"

I am quite sure Chasing Amy is "suck"

As much as these words frighten me, "I've gotta go with Marmel on this one".
