Renaming the Pitcher of the Year award
Do we go with Jonathan Redick? He won the award SEVEN times and has won 302 career games.
Or do we go with Hall of Famer Charlie Taylor who at the age of 43 is still playing at an extremely high level and is likely to pass Redick on the all-time wins list this upcoming year? |

If we name it the Charlie Taylor POY Award. Nicknaming "The Cricket" sounds a lot better than "The Mad Dog" hehe.

Redick fell off a cliff after leaving Syracuse. Taylor is about to pitch into his 43rd birthday, will break Redick's win record, had a year where he was a closer for goodness sakes (or he'd have already broken it. Blame me for that year.) and I just think that he's the sort of guy that others will follow.
