Tiger Woods 13

I picked up TW 13 last night for the 360 and so far it's by far the best golf game I've played. I haven't touched a TW game in a couple years but EA seems to have finally got a game "right". I started a career mode last night and already put over 4 hours into it. The stats, perks, unlockables , ect., has a feel of Call of Duty.

New this year, they have Club Houses. It almost acts as a guild for golf.

Anyone here plan on getting it for the 360?

I do, and I am actually looking forward to it because you are able to use it with the Kinect.

Hows the putting on tough greens? Last year's game was totally fun, until you got minimal progress and started hitting the tougher greens on the final days of tournaments, when it suddenly became a rage-inducing exercise in frustration, as the ball rolled around like it was on glass.

Can you set up your own tour through the country club option? hold events? etc. etc.?

My biggest wish was that they would include a private online tour option with full customization for the head of it.

I played it last weekend, I liked everything but I thought putting was a bit clunky.

I picked it up. Was planning on making 12 my long term game since I had bought all the DLC but I HATED the caddy and the controls.

13 is much better, caddy is tucked in and not intrusive this year, and it doesn't essentially play itself like 12. I thought the putting was a lot better with 13 as well though it still feels a bit clunky. Hard to get the right amount of power still.

For the golfing experience I'd say 13 is MUCH better.

And I'd definitely like to join Trout Meadows, my gamertag is Mota.

BTW I sent a request to join Trout Meadows. Either that or you give us a password so we can join automatically.

I just quit the Trout Meadows club because there hasn't been any activity for a week and only two members (and Cartman hasn't been playing). Seems like you need at least 6 members before anything cool happens. I'll rejoin if it sounds like we can get a FOFC crew going.

Played a round with my dad a few days ago - not all that excited about the changes to the controls, but that's probably a familiarity thing. The caddy feature is something I will never use, so meh. I want to kick it up to the highest difficulty level because I honestly find the white line while I'm swinging (at the middle difficulty level) to be distracting.

I restarted a career on Tiger 12 today playing on Tournament difficulty and Low AI scoring. It is the perfect golf game for me and with all the cash I dropped on the DLC courses, I won't upgrade for a long time.

Yeah, I haven't been home since last weekend. I won't be back until the middle of next week.

I'll be back home tomorrow, so if anyone sends requests to join Trout Meadows, I'll get them taken care of tomorrow evening.

Any deals out there for this? I barely play games anymore so I can't justify the full price, but I'm intrigued in getting some golf in.
