Donovan McNabb is sounding a little bitter

Between ripping the Shanahan's earlier in the week for his failure in Washington, he is now ripping Tebow for thanking the Bronco fans via Twitter and railing that he (McNabb) is the most unfairly criticized QB in history.

The chip in his shoulder seems to be growing by the day and it seems like he can't accept that it is over. He was a good QB in his prime and a great athlete, but he has not set the world in fire in his last two stops after becoming expendable in Philly due to the emergence of Vick.

Sometimes you just need to bow out gracefully and move on dude.

He spent all of those years saying all of the right things. I guess he doesn't want to keep his mouth shut now. I don't understand why the media needs to report it now. No one gives a shit what he thinks.

Good for ratings I guess, they keep bringing him back on First Take.....Maybe just so Skip Bayless isn't the only ass on the show.

He always seemed to me to be the passive aggressive type.

He's a proud guy, always had kind of a chip on his shoulder, but he generally filtered it. If he doesn't give a shit anymore, he's capable of some great quotes.

Oh, he is proving quite capable early on. As long as he is turning over this new leaf, I would love to hear his "true" take of the issues with TO.

I'd like to hear why he threw up on the final drive of the Superbowl.

I would love him try to explain that in 2008 (in his tenth year in the NFL) he did not know the NFL overtime rules.

You'd be surprised to find out how many people in sports actually don't know all the rules of the game they play. Given that overtime isn't something that regularly happens, I'd dare to bet that on a random NFL team, only 5 or 6 players actually do know what the different set of rules are in overtime.

I am surprised how little many players today even know of the history of the game. Hell in grade school I read about Ernie Nevers, Bronko Nagurski, Don Hutson, Sid Luckman, Red Grange, etc.

I wonder how many guys in the league would know who these guys were? Why bother with the rules?

Didn't Vick "emerge" after McNabb was already gone?

Yes, but I am pretty sure the coaches saw something that hastened the process.

He was actually expendable because of Kolb, Vick was Kolb's backup to start the season until he got hurt.
