Celebrity HON: Would You Rather? South Bracket (Part A)

We are set to kick off the final bracket. The seedings and matchups were set before the most recent HoN poll, which as you can see below, could have a big impact on the tournament. As always, feel free to post additional pics to support your vote.

(3) Olivia Wilde vs. (14) Emma Stone

Wilde is a pending poll candidate and is the second highest seeded non-HoN pollster, next to only Bar Refaeli. As with all non-pollsters, the big question is will she have the same support from the FOFCers that the selection committee predicted? The Tron:Legacy and House star draws a favorable first round matchup against Stone, who did not fare well in her 2011 HoN performance, garnering less than a 70% approval rating despite her roles in popular films such as Superbad and Zombieland. Stone is the second lowest HoN pollster in the tourney and will be in tough to advance.

(6) Evangeline Lilly vs. (11) Penelope Cruz

Lilly is best known for her days from the TV show Lost and was one of the original HoN pollsters from back in 2005, garnering a solid 81% approval rating. Despite Lost being off the air, Lilly should still have a number of FOFC supporters as she takes on the at large selection in Cruz. The Spanish actress is often an over thought in hotness rankings and we will see if it is justified here as she faces a tough opponent in Lilly.

(7) Alice Eve vs. (10) Kristen Bell

Alice Eve may best be known as the girl from She's Out of my League while others may recognize her from Entourage. Eve had a very good 2011 HoN performance, scoring just under 81% with the FOFC faithful. Some say that she draws a favorable matchup as two blonds go head to head when she takes on pending pollster Kristen Bell. The Veronica Mars star would have likely been better off in a non blonde vs. blonde matchup and we will see which one the FOFCers prefer.

(2) Selma Hayek vs. (15) Jennifer Love Hewitt

The big story in this matchup obviously is the recent HoN performance of Hewitt, which occurred shortly after the tournament seedings were set. As a result, Hewitt, who is currently polling at 85% takes on Hayek, who drew an 87% approval rating back in 2006. This will be one of the closest watched matchups, as Hewitt had a strong start in her poll but was met with some late backlash. Could a reverse Kate Upton effect take place? Will Hayek have the same popularity over 5 years later, especially against Hewitt, who has some very strong FOFC supporters. This one should go down to the wire with one of the top favorites guaranteed to go home early.

You do mean that JLH is a 13 seed and not a 3, right? If she's a 3, you fucked up putting her against a 2 in the first round.

Clear winners on the first 3...tough call on the 4th.

Did someone say this is "current hotness" and not "all time hotness" though?

I never understood the hype Evangeline Lilly generated.

I would probably put Alice Eve third in this bracket. Too bad she drew Kristen Bell.

If you read the post it's clear that he intended for JLH to be the 15 seed, which makes the (3) a typo.

Now everybody pour themselves a nice, tall glass of calm-the-hell-down juice.

Yep. JLH is a 15. I swear I typed 15 there and have no idea how that happened except for some sort of higher power intervening on her behalf. Pre HoN poll, I had her pegged around a 68%, right in Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson range. Boy was I off. Anyway, it's clear in the preview and shouldn't impact things so I'm not closing the poll.

I'm afraid you've got the same girl running against herself in Eve vs Bell :P
Similar in Stone vs WIlde really.

Yeah a couple of these matchups are real pains in the ass because of the similarities of the girls. Going to go with Stone and Bell, though out of the doppelganger duels

She's absolutely not. No way in hell.

Plus, Eve has a sexy British accent (yes, there are sexy vs. unsexy British accents). I would walk barefoot across a floor of broken glass for the chance to be with Alice Eve.

She kicks ass. She also is much more known and has built up karma from her various roles.

Here's is an interview with Alice though.

Something is wrong with Bells left eye in that photo. It looks like a cyborg eye.

I believe it is Salma, not Selma. And putting JLH up against her in the first round is cruel. JLH should beat most people, but not Salma.

I always thought Penelope Cruz looked like a bird. And a man. A manbird.

Pretty easy really, Stone just isn't that impressive. Cute, red hair is a bonus but well...meh.

Olivia Wilde is just well....WOW =)

Never been a Selma fan, so she lost by default to whomever was against her. Doesn't hurt the fact that I do like JLH also.

After the Sunset is a great movie with Salma Hayek in a bikini for the bulk of the movie. It made me an even bigger fan of her.
