The official Mizzou is awesome / Mizzou sucks thread

Mizzou freakin' rocks, but they also suck. Especially their fans. Who rock beyond all measure. They were the lynchpin who held the Big 12 together, and now they have caused its inevitable destruction with their departure. The SEC made a savvy move by adding the Tigers, even though they are already having buyer's remorse and fear it will mean bad things for the SEC going forward.

Discuss. Here. Only here. Please.

I'm playing Mizzou in my NCAA dynasty. If they had as much success in real life as I've had with them, this forum might blow up.

The Big Ten doesn't know what they're missing in Mizzou. But Mizzou would rather be in the SEC anyway.

Fight, Tiger, fight for old Mizzou,

Right behind you, everyone is with you.

Break the line and follow down the field,

And, you'll be, on the top, upon the top.

Fight, Tiger, you will always win,

Proudly keep the colors flying skyward.

In the end, we'll win the victory,

So Tiger, fight for Old Mizzou!

Every true son
So happy hearted
Skies above us are blue
There's a spirit
So deep within us
Ol' Missouri, here's to you!
When the band plays
That Tiger fight song
And when the fray is through
We will tramp, tramp, tramp around the Columns
with a cheer for ol' Mizzou

---

Is it wrong that I remember the fight songs for high school and college but struggle to remember stuff I learned in science and math courses?

@NotBillWalton: Twitter has decided to pour acid directly on the open wounds of Missouri fans by making Tyus Edney trend. Oh, the humanity!

I lived in Norfolk for like 5 years and the amount of people who pronounced it "no-fuck" was amazing.

That's cause that's how it's pronounced.

Silly northerners.

There's an "r" in there. What are you now, all French and cool with dropping the pronunciation of letters?

SI

Next round is Marquette/Murray St. Very confident that Mizzou can handle either of those teams. They both play similar games to Mizzou, but Mizzou is a much more efficient team.

I personally think that Mich. State will fall to Memphis or Louisville before the Elite Eight. Memphis is not as good of a matchup for Mizzou as Louisville or Mich. State. I'd rather have either of the other teams. Regardless, Mich. State is the weakest of the #1 seeds and some would argue that the MU/MSU seeds should be reversed. Wouldn't be shocked at all to see Mizzou favored in that matchup if it happens. MU's speed would be a huge problem for MSU.

Excited to get started.

I'd ask you for the proper pronunciation of Suffolk, but there's really never a good reason to say "I'm going to Suffolk".

Well, I should correct myself actually.

People actually from there really say it more like "Naw-Fuck".

Either way, the the L definitely doesn't get pronounced. I'm ok with a "Nor-Fuck". BUt "Nor-Folk" makes me cringe .

I'll say what we're all thinking, Missouri would have won this game had they hired Quin Snyder back this last off season.

So I had Mizzou losing in the second round. Blast me for overestimating them.
