Somewhere on the Internets, there are fetish sites charging $34.99 per month for hot cow mating action stories like this one.
And Lungs is just giving it away for free... |

Bump for an update.
She's through with the latest round of hormone shots and tomorrow morning I check her out to see if she has engaged in any cow lesbian action during the night (that means she's ready to be "serviced"). Either way, I'll probably be thawing out some of Bowser's semen tomorrow and depositing it in her uterus. |

I'll regret asking this, but how do you determine if the the cow has engaged in lesbian action? Do you go around asking if the cows have been hooving each other or something? |

Not sure if you can see it in the bottom picture but there is a pink stripe on her tail head. We use an oversized crayon to put the stripe on her tail daily. If that is gone, it means she's been mounted by another cow. On my older cows I've got a fancy computerized system that tells me whether some hot cow lesbian action has been going on via motion monitors the cows wear on their necks. |

She was definitely a hornball this morning. 5:30 AM this morning, all the other cows were quietly resting but she was running around out in the pasture with another that was in heat. I wish I had a video, it's quite humorous. Total lesbian action. They lick each other out and mount each other among other things. I'm just glad I could entice her into the lockups so I could inseminate her.
If only human women were this easy to figure out. |

On a genetics issue, if it's a single allele trait that is purely recessive, and you mate her with a cow that doesn't have this mutation, you will never get any cows with docked tails (at least initially). As a scientist, I'm curious what exactly you think will happen. I mean, if a bunch of cows are born with normal tails, it really doesn't tell you anything new without genetic analysis.

This morning we counted 917, with three born today so 920. 430 of them are currently producing milk.
As for any more updates, next action is Tuesday when we flush her uterus out and see how many fertilized eggs there are. |

This I understand. What I'm going on is the fact that grandmother had no tail at all. Mother's tail was normal and her only offspring with an odd tail was this particular heifer. The difference in phenotype between grandmother and granddaughter doesn't lead me to believe this is a single allele trait, if it is a trait at all and not something environmental that occurs during gestation that happened to strike twice in the same family. If it is a mutation, it couldn't be recessive as there are no other known carriers of this trait. Basically this whole process of producing all these eggs and getting as many offspring as possible from this heifer in a short span of time to see if there is anything to this. Worst case scenario, I have lots of granddaughters of a cow that broke our milk production record for one year. |

Only got two eggs today, so I've got a total of one confirmed pregnancy and six frozen eggs now.
A little disappointed but hopefully I can get those six eggs to result in pregnancies. |

This isn't a result of the embryo transfer, but she is the great-niece of the cow in this thread! There's some goofy deformities in this family, none being lethal. First embryo transfer calf is due to be born December 5th. Rest of the eggs are still frozen in nitrogen. Hopefully will be implanting them soon. |

A few things I can address on this... As for the calf due to be born yesterday, not good news at all. The surrogate mother miscarried at some point in the past few months. She was definitely still pregnant at 5-6 months so I'm pretty ticked off about this. Though nature does not abort without reason. I implanted four of my last six embryos about a month ago and today we confirmed that two of the recipients held the pregnancies while two did not. Fairly typical success rate. I like the chances better this time as the two surrogates are currently milking and I'm much better able to regulate their weight. The surrogate that just miscarried got fat on me which if it didn't play a role in the miscarriage, it would've made things difficult at birth. Anyway, I like my chances better this time. As for the original embryo donor, I'm still trying to get her to conceive. If she can't through artificial insemination, I'm taking her to a neighbor's bull to do some good old fashioned cow bangin' |

wow, actually something like pocket frogs on iOS but with cows would be cool, but using all the real life variations and we could all be amateur lungs.

Well, it's 2295's second birthday today and I received some fantastic news... She is pregnant!
It's been a bitch to get her pregnant again after all the stuff I did to get fertilized eggs out of her. This was the 8th time we inseminated her since we stopped with all the flushing business. Now here is the kicker. I'm going to need to schedule an appearance for her on the Maury Povich show because I don't know who the daddy is! I inseminated her once with one bull and another guy came the next day and inseminated her with a different bull so she is just a ghetto whore I guess. The two possible fathers: Alabama Braut I'm thinking it's going to be Braut since he his little swimmers had the first shot at her. |

Dola
she is due September 29th and the surrogate mothers carrying two of her embryos are both due on August 6th. Crossing my fingers that the cows won't miscarry and I'll have three calves from 2295 in a span of less than two months. All three with different fathers (what a whore) |

I like how there is apparently a standard Olan Mills cow pose... their front paws on a little dirt hill, in side profile, in front of a fake "field" background.

They should put ugly sweaters on the cows for their portraits.

Bump. Here is the first one. This guy's biological mother has yet to give birth. Disappointed that it's a male, as I really have no use for bulls on my farm. But instead of selling him to my neighbor that would grow him for beef, I'm going to try and find him a home where he can have lots of sex with other cows. Another calf from the egg donor will be born at any time. The donor mother herself will be having her own calf at the end of September. This bull does have a complete tail so my original genetic hypothesis was NOT expressed in this particular individual. Surrogate mother is doing fine too.
