Big Week of releases next week for EA!
I was over at the EB online store and was scanning all the PC game releases for next week and man! I have to tell you EA and EA Sports have a big week of releases next week.
1. C&C: Generals Expansion: Zero Hour (9/22) MUST BUY! 2. SimCity 4 Expansion: Rush Hour (9/22) MUST WAIT! 3. Medal of Honor Expansion: Breakthrough (9/23) 4. NHL 2004 (9/22) 5. Tiger Woods 2004 (9/22) Which looks great! 6. Freedom Fighters (9/23) 6 games in one week from the EMPIRE of EA games. I will be getting the Generals expansion for sure, but I will wait on SimCity 4. Both Zero Hour and Rush Hour expansions have $10 rebates on them. Any of you buying any of those games?

I haven't bought a computer game in ages...last one was Vice City...still playing it. Was going to buy Republic but read the views and I'll wait till it hits the discount rack...almost nothing out there intrigues me...

Ironically, Front Office Football 2003 was not one of the big releases.....but thankfully FOF2002 is still available for purchase at the economically priced $24.99....whew!!!

I own it, and have played with Travis and a few other guys here from FOFC, but we had no dedicated server, I own the expansion as well...and then I played and found that most people who played it were morons, MORONS, waiting in line fighting over airplanes, tanks...shooting their own teammates, vandalizing vehicles they couldn't get...and I just stopped, I've played counterstrike which was far better mannered, and I don't want to buy the new expansion just so I can wait around and find a server to play on that won't be a nightmare, won't kick you off if you aren't a clan member, and won't appear and disappear on the favs list...its a beautiful game, but almost worthless if you play it alone on multiplayer... |

yeah
I usually play co-op online. I am usually in these servers which are very good and the server owners are very professional about who is doing what to who. I usually play the Desert Combat Mod, get it if you don't it is alot of fun. Here are the servers that I am usually on. BAM-Racing server (the guy is very nice) Strawberry Shortcake server, this one is good as well, my 2nd favorite. West Coast DC .4 Server is a good one as well. The BAM server is usually up on Friday's and Saturday nights unlimited. My code name is Dars Janon. If you ever decide to come online, we can team up and kick some bot butt! Hope to see you online tonight.

I was wondering how quickly a Kodos joke would pop up in this thread. Pretty quickly, as it turned out.
More accurately, I am a Madden and NCAA Football whore. I don't give a rats ass about their baseball or hockey games. |

I tried registering an account with the screenname "EA Executive" but I ran out of email addresses to use.

Well if you want to at least try a game that doesn't have most of these problems happening frequently I would definatly recommend Americas Army It's totally free, unless I guess you count the tax dollars. It's more realistic than CS. A lot of people that I know that have played both CS and AA have said they'd never be able to go back to CS. It's a huge file, but well worth it IMHO.

I saw in the Sunday paper, in the Best Buy ad for this week that they were going to be selling C&C Generals: Zero Hour expansion for only:
$24.99 instead of $29.99 (a savings of $5). Also for those interested in buying the SIMCITY 4 expansion: Rush Hour, Best Buy had it on sale for only $19.99 after mail in rebate. www.bestbuy.com Also EBgames has a $10 rebate on the game as well, making the game $19.99 after rebate. www.ebgames.com Just trying to help some fellow FOFC brothers or sisters save a little money these days.

I just got a $15 gift certificate from EA. Any suggestions to what I should spend it towards? I already have NCAA and Madden. Also I already have Battlefield 1942, and SimCity.

Do you have all of the Battlefield expansions? Road to Rome and the latest one called, Secret Weapons of WWII??
I'd get those if you don't own them already. I am a Battlefield junkie myself, so I am a little biased on it. C&C Generals expansion: Zero Hour is quite impressive and makes Generals finally worth playing. I hear that TIger Woods is a fine game also. SimCity 4 expansion: Rush Hour is pretty good, not as good as the 3 mention up top. Good Luck with your decision. I sent my rebates off last Thursday, so I am hoping to have $30 bucks handy and waiting for the next game to add to my collection.
