can't wait for what? NFL Network has been available since the beginning of the season... Not to us Canadian, but to Direct TV subscriber, I think...

weird, I was sure it was made available at the beginning of September. No way to know for me up here, I was just assuming from past press releases I had seen. I think you have to subscribe to it though...

According to the NFL Network page on NFL.com if you have Directv you'll get NFL Network.

I really wish that the NFL would get into the 21st century and start to steam live video via RealPlayer or Windows Media Player. MLB.COM does something similar to this and its great. Too bad we won't be seeing this anytime soon, since the NFL sold their soul to the devil (directv). DirectTV has exclusive rights to programming packages such as this.

I should go back and look up the news article that explains the financial details about the contract that they renewed with the NFL. If I'm not mistaken, I believe that DirectTV paid a couple hundred million for exclusive rights. I was fustrated because I finally thought that I'd be able to get this package (I'm a comcast cable subscriber). |
