Exclamation FOFC Turns 10 Next Week.

IIRC, October 20th, 2000 is the date of the move from The Sideline. Wow.

To me FOFC predates the move from The Sideline -- IIRC I joined in June of 1999.

March 25th, 2011 will be my 10th here both as AP and Phatguy....Thats not counting the time I lurked before joining.Which would have been about three months or so months after Jim gave birth to the first version. As far as this old senile brain can remember.....

Here's a great classic thread from shortly after the new site started, asking us to PLEASE come back to The Sideline.

Basically, this means that the average age of posters on this board is getting old.

Wow, has it been that long? I was not active at Sideline, posted a couple times and that was about it but then I received an email (from BA I believe) about this forum starting up so I jumped in to see what it was like. About that time I finally became hooked on this wonderful spreadsheet style game (can't even complain about the spreadsheet style as I like it because it gives me the numbers and lets my imagination do the rest, like when I was a kid and would make up dice games for various sports.... yeah, I'm a geek, no surprise there).

What are we doing to celebrate? I think TCY2 would be a great way to celebrate (maybe that is what Jim was waiting for the 10th anniversary of this forum... ).

I joined 3 years later, in 2003, after somebody (probably one of you) mentioned FOF2k1 in the SI football manager forums (was named CM those days).

I think the 25th anniversary would be more appropriate (and plausible) time for TCY2 to come out.

It would be pretty cool if we could get member numbers back under our names. Is that even possible?

That and posts would be nice, just for context. Could we get those back if we promised not to fight about them or whatever the hell the problem was last time?

Yeah, it's amazing. I remember posting about our "sterile one week, pregnant the next" pregnancy here, and she's now 6.5 years old.

10 years of the current FOFC, and in a couple of week we're having my 20 year HS reunion. I think a cold front is coming in, I can feel the aching in my bones.
