Horse racing fans...

Hey guys,

I just got an e-mail announcing the release of Starter's Orders 4. There's a demo, it seems like a reasonable price and the fix list over SO3 (which was a solid game) looks pretty good with expanded histories, more realistic times, etc.

Anyway, if anyone else is interested, the link is hxxp://www.startersorders.com/index.htm

Has U.S.-based racing become anything more than an afterthought in the past couple of versions of this game?

That's the key question for me as well.

I haven't seen much if any improvement in creating a better US atmosphere.

I was trying to do that American Idol thing. Not the show, Kelly Clarkson.

Cool! I got a wide monitor and can't get Racing Breed to look like anything but shit on it, so am up for a new racing game. Downloading the demo but probably won't get to it for a couple days.

Ugh. Messed around briefly last night with US. Just seems to be an English game with American track names, right?

I'll probably start again in the UK. Not the easiest interface to figure out, and please tell me I don't have to do the arcade-y sounding jockey control thing.

You don't have to control the jockey.
