In the video game thread it looks like a few of us would be interested to get on together and play - maybe even set up a weekly game. So I figured I would start up a thread for discussion.

I would be good any day of the week night after 7:30ish (EST) time.

I used to play console FPS's (Mainly Quake II, Counter Strike, and Battle Field) - but have always had issues with Console FPS's. The controls are just hard for me.

Anyway - Rented MW2 yesterday since I had the day off.

I'm addicted.

I'll be buying it this weekend

I'm not very good, but I'd love to play. I wouldn't be able to commit to anything regular, but maybe if we just set a night/time then whomever can come comes?

Also - any preference on type of game? Personally, I tend to prefer the "mission" based games rather than Death Match, but I'm certainly not against playing Death Match.

I like Team Deathmatch and Domination. My friends like to play Search & Destroy, but they're good. I suck so I spend a lot of time watching.

Well, since I'm a low level I've only played Domination and Team Deathmatch in this game - but as a general rule in FPS games I like the mission driven style.

I guess my request would just be that we mix it up - maybe week to week or something.

Anyone else interested in labeling ourselves with FOFC just to be dorks?

Hey, count me in, I'm having a blast with the single player mode. Tried some deathmatch last night and consistently sucked. I think the most kills I had was 2 in about 10 games...ha. Anyhow, my gamertag:

I'm having problems with my router connecting games with friends. I have been doing some research and I called the Belkin to figure out how to connect. If I figure it out I will also be on around 8:00 EST time tonight.

I prefer the mission type games as well. My favorite is Hardcore Search and Destroy. I like Domination, though. I have been having fun with the new modes Capture the Flag and Demolition tho.

Maybe it is a port forwarding issue? Check this out - Which ports are required to be open for Xbox LIVE on your router or firewall

I finally got the router issue fixed - the ports were the problem - thanks! I saw a couple of your party invites but couldn't join. I did get everything figured out late last night and jumped on with a friend to do some Special Co-Op - that was a blast. I'll be on tonight after 7:30ish EST time any of you want to jump on. You don't get an invite, you just add it under Clan Tags.
