How did he slip away?
Offender known for baby oil slatherings is missing - KansasCity.com
Offender known for baby oil slatherings is missing By SARA SHEPHERD The Kansas City Star Police are looking for a Kansas City man who slipped away from the justice system this week. Warning: He’s a known flasher. And he can be very oily. Larry D. Booker, 55, had a probation violation hearing Thursday but didn’t show up, said Mary Jacobi of Jackson County Circuit Court. Court officials say Booker failed to report to his probation officer, register as a sex offender or enter a treatment program. He now has a warrant out for his arrest. Three times in three years, police pulled over Booker and found him in various stages of undress — and glistening with oil. •June 2008, 62nd Street and Tracy Avenue. White robe, no shirt, black sweatpants, slathered in baby oil. A woman told police that a few minutes earlier a man matching that description exposed himself in front of a nearby day-care center. •January 2008, church day-care center near 25th Street and the Paseo. Scarf tied on head, short robe, no pants. His body, a woman told police, was “shiny.” •February 2005, Lenexa. Nude, covered with corn oil. He had allegedly just exposed himself to a woman. He has been convicted in all three incidents. In at least two of them, Booker told police that he put on oil because his skin was dry. |
