Let's Go Bowling - The College Football Bowl Discussion Thread

First one of the year, Fresno State - Wyoming in the New Mexico Bowl.

Two of the most wide open receivers you'll ever see.. Fresno State pulls off a reverse, and when the WR stops and throws.. There's two Fresno State receivers, at the 5 and the end zone.

The nearest defender when the ball is caught is the 32 yard line.

The receiver yaps about it, and combined with an unsportsmanlike on the XP, Fresno State then kicked off from their 8 yard line

Of course, I have no idea where to post this now. I guess we'll start here:

Wyoming scores to make it 28-21. I didn't expect them to win, so if the fact that it's competitive in the 4th quarter is good enough for me. I'd love to see them get the win, if they can manage it.

Great goalline stop by Wyoming in overtime.

edit: But then they can't get a first down and miss the field goal. Their fans had already left the stands ready to storm the field but have to go sit back down now.

4 straight bowl wins for Rutgers. To someone who went there from 1998-2002, that's absolutely incredible.

It was nice to see the offense look good for the entire game, and not just in spurts. Watching Savage and Sanu do this as true freshmen has been special.

We'll obviously miss Devin McCourty (sounds like he's okay) next year, but there's a lot of young talent on defense which will be exciting to watch.

Anthony Davis declared for the draft after the game, FYI.

As a lifelong fan and follower, my Dad went there in the 50's it really is amazing.

No surprise about Davis. It was really nice to see the young players step up, there is a ton of young talent on this team.
