IWS 165: 57 Channels (And Nothin' On)-The Results
1. How many hours of TV per week is "too much?"
20-6 10-6 30-6 25-3 40-3 15-2 100(duh)-1 24-1 Seemed to be no real consensus, but as long as you used ROUND NUMBERS you probably did well. 2. As a child, which show weren't you allowed to watch? No restrictions-4 Benny Hill-2 SNL-2 Dallas-2 Hill Street Blues-2 Married W/ Children-2 NYPD Blue-2 3s company MTV(music videos) Beavis and Butthead cheers Real Sex(really?) How many Televisions do you own? 3-13 2-12 4-3 4. Which TV show ended way too prematurely? Arrested development-7 Firefly-7 Freaks and Geeks-4 Star Trek-3 Seinfeld-3(you guys did watch the last couple years, right?) sports night-2 my name is earl beavis and butthead When in doubt, make a genre pick. 5. What is the worst show on TV today? Cheers had the best theme song for a TV show, which other show had the second best? Argh.
Should have gone "no restrictions" since that was my real situation - was outsmarted by IWS thinking, "well, that's not a show". Theme song I thought was a toss-up, didn't realize Mash had so much following for its theme.

Considering the average age around here, I figured Dallas would get a bunch more votes for "Weren't allowed to watch". Although, seeing as my vote for it wasn't even listed, I'm not really sure what's up with that. That and the time per week were the only things I missed out on.
