At least my 2B (Day) and my workhorse SP (O'Reilly) looks to have had a hell of a season

I finished 20 games better than last year so I can't complain about my .500 season!

Tomorrow morning 5am ET is the deadline for exports, we will sim the Playoffs!

Mexico City is on the right track, I think. With 8 Million left to spend (I dropped some players and couldn't spend all 65 Mil) I should be able to compete with the best next season.

Thanks Alan for all the hard work. Congrats to the playoff teams.

Yes Alan - thanks for being commish. I've played in a couple online leagues that never really took off - and I do have to say that this is a lot of fun.

Here's what I like.

I knew on June 1st that my playoff hopes were dashed. That was at 0627 this morning.

At 0725 the season was over. I don't have to wait another few weeks with a team out of the playoffs.

I am becoming a big fan of fast paced leagues.

Player HTML is updated.

FOOL-X STATSLAB is also updated. You should see the stats show up now as well as player development reports.

Also, please check out the Voting section. Just put in votes if you don't mind to test it out this season. None of the votes are binding right now, but it will be fun to see how the league's votes compare with the AI's picks for each award. If voting turn out is good, I am considering changing the Commissioner's Award to the MVP Award (as voted on by the managers in the league). Obviously that is no fun if only 2 people vote.. So give it a try!

I voted and I think I broke it.

Lots of errors on the results page.

Nah, you didn't break it. I saw the same thing. That is why this is a beta-test I already reported those errors back to the writer and hopefully they will be fixed later.

I think it is just an error in displaying the votes, not the actual voting though, so your votes should take. Hopefully it is easily fixable for him.

We are tied with Grand Rapids with the 2nd worst record in 1962. Does anyone know how that tie will be broken to determine the #2 pick?

Everytime I think I understand tiebreakers across different leagues, I realize that I don't. So I can't help you on this one, I almost think it is either random or something silly though.

I have a feeling it will be alphabetic because prior to the re-write with the move to SI a lot of ties like this were done alphabetically.

My assumption is it could be that or Team ID number.

Ok, I fixed the End of Season Award voting display issue. So once you vote, you should be able to see who are leading each vote right now.

That probably has something to do with him looking more like a Right fielder than a third baseman to me

Yeah, the guy I had playing SS vs Righties made 50+ errors...he's such a good fielder I figured he'd pick up the position...no luck there.

No hyde you don't suck you're just not as lucky as me, I've done almost nothing to my team except pick up a couple decent FA's and I've done well despite my laziness, well not laziness but hesitation to mess with a good thing. I really feel like I'm starting to understand the important aspects of the game and I hope to be a lot more active this offseason instead of letting the AI make all my decisions.

DOLA, I'd also like to reiterate the thanks to Alan for posting the fun news stories and being the best baseball overlord ever and say that I'm enjoying this immensely as well.

Well I was going to post that I liked my team before the season started, but too late now. I'm really looking forward to the post season and I think I've got a really talented young team that could do some damage. Good luck to all though in the playoffs.
