Complete List of Madden Ratings with complete breakdown
I just discovered this link on Operation Sports and a brief perusal looks good for the most part as far as ratings, although I would quibble with many of the QB's ratings for accuracy. However, assuming these ratings are correct, EA seriously messed up people's contracts . They have McNabb signed for 4 more years at only 8 million and they have Owens signed for 4 more years at a little over 20 million. These are the first two that jump out at me. Disappointing, but not a deal breaker from me still getting this game.
Here is the link for anyone interested in the ratings: http://www.maddenguides.com/roster.htm

Dola
Looking at the list, the highest paid player in the league is this years top pick: Carson Palmer!! Most of the salaries look significantly messed up. Of course this is assuming the poster put the actual salaries from the game. |

Triple Dola? (what would be the correct term)
Well in reviewing the list further, Trent Green is actually the highest paid player in the madden roster at 7 years for 50.94 million, but the game has many numbers which are clearly wrong for other players. |

No, you only pulled a double dola. You had three posts in a row, but the first dola occured in your second post. The third post contained the second dola, therefore it was the double.

I would call it a trolla.
Mostly because doing it too often is like fishing for an ass-whoopin'. I better watch my rear lately. Edited to add that your dolas aren't the type that really scream dola.. They are just short and to the point. Its kinda like saying "I look down on midgets." It's just the truth.. And who should be penalized for that? I DO look down on midgets.

Why does EA release Madden so early? I mean wouldn't it be smarter to release the game right before the first NFL games start? This would also help them make rosters/player ratings more accurate by putting some more thought into each players stats and ability's.

I'm sending you a surprise, JeeberD..
It is a slice of originalcake. And it isn't a surprise anymore. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's kind of ironic that a team with a penchant for pinching pennies would pay premium for Palmer, huh... I wonder where they get the info for these salaries.. I would guess maybe they edited the contract values to reflect the bonuses that these playeres would earn as if they had already earned them.. kind of like a projected guess at what they will be paid based on reaching incentives in their contracts.. The game doesn't yet handle the entire complex array of escalator clauses and other stipulations that can alter a players total cap hit for future years, so maybe theyre trying to make the players salaries what they think they will wind up being. But I could be wrong.
