Bought it last night for 20 bucks...
My wife and I have taken turns playing it. Both addicted. Great fun. Bill Harris is right as usual.

Less instructions? They step you through the entire way when you play the Academy course... they even show you which cards you can click on for the first couple holes.

Damn, that Hacker game on the Commodore 64 was a bitch. I'm kinda ashamed to say that I had pirated it, so it was really confusing for me, especially since I was only 9 years old. My parents bought Hacker 2 for me in 1987, and I still didn't know what the hell to do. I just remember trying to hack into some Russian computer or something in the game, and nothing was working. I was so mad at my parents for subjecting me to that experience.
That reminds me that I really ought to go untie them.

Yeah, I've completely finished the game. Keep at it. You'll get there. I have a couple of courses really frustrate me, but it was a pretty great feeling when I finally conquered them!

I am at the last course and only have to get par. However, getting par is a pain in the arse even with the extra clubs.

Yeah, that one was tough, I got a lot of extra clubs at Mecury South in order to help me get through that one.

Bumping this thread as this game is now free until May 31. Well worth a download if you haven't already.

I see Azada is also free there. It's an interesting game, lots of different kinds of puzzles to solve.

Played the Everest game. Tough to find the items at first, but you start to figure out better methods to look for the items eventually.
