New Style Up

For all you workers out there that have to be sneaky when on FOFC, no longer! Titled "A Day At The Office", the primary black and white make this look like no football forum, yet maybe a document of some sort. I changed every single freakin' image to accomodate.

Have fun.

Speaking of which, have the powers-that-be made vBulletin -QotM the default style for Guests and new users?

By the way, I wish I worked on documents and applications that look like a bulletin board service.

Yes I know, it's a cheap idea that actually works, but that is what it reminded me of.

I haven't changed the default to vB -QotM because in all honestly I forget how I did it originally. It used to be some crappy unchoosable style that was the default and I changed it.. I'll take a look.

Two more are up. "Flush" and "Habitue". Habitue means a place you visit on a daily basis... hmmm, like this? Flush, well is another word for pink. It takes some getting used to, but it's nice..

But maybe more importantly,

EVERY STYLE THAT HAS QUOTE OF THE MOMENT NOW FUNCTIONS CORRECTLY, YOU CAN CLICK VIEW QUOTES AND IT_WILL_WORK. Finally, finally, it is fixed.

I'm kind of digging Day at the Office as well. Not as if it actually looks like real work, but it's a decent style. I'll probably be back to classic in 20 minutes though.

I've been going with Office since it first came up and I'm really liking it. Seems kind of funny that something so drab and professional looking can come from someone who likes pink and bright, flashy punk colors.

GOing to have to get used to a day in the office...

It is ironic though.. anyone notice how OUtlook 11 Beta looks more cartoonish like an online forum now? This forum looks more work legitimate than my email now.. heh

I decided to check out flush and I must say, it's not bad. It may make me feel like I don't have a penis, but it's not bad.

EDIT: Ohhhhh. Post 3000 is next. I'd have to waste it on something special.

Hehe, I knew I'd get some flak for the Flush style, but I like it. Credit SackAttack who once told me over AIM that his site chose a pink style to make them stand out. Josh was my true inspiration.

Glad to see everyone likes A Day At The Office, which has been up for nearly a month and I guess few saw this thread at first. I was using that up until this recent pink switch.

For the record, my favorite color is red and I have yet to make a red theme. Heh.

Maybe we can rename the style "lurker".

Ditto. The only problem I have is that the browser on my work PC doesn't save my style selection...it always reverts to the default setting when I logon to FOFC each morning. At home, there's no problem.

Try going to your control panel, user options and changing it in there. It seems to be a cookie problem.

Shorty, is there a hack that can get the right birthdate appearing in the profile instead of December 31, 69 for us older folks?

Hmm, I don't think so -- if only because that should not be happening. What is your actual birthday, let me see if I can't go in there and manually change it.

Ooh, you guys gotta do that! That'd be too cool! Except I use "A Day at The Office." I wonder if using that style should make me feel like I don't have....ah, never mind.

The only problem with the Day at the Office one is that is that the emoticons are brighter than ever by contrast. Most of my applications at work don't have big yellow smilies. Any way around that?

Thanks :P

I'm eating lunch now anyway so it doesn't matter if it looks like I'm not working -- hopefully.
