Tiger rocked that tree.

edit: But ended up with a fairly decent approach shot despite being on the 10th hole. He left it within about 10 feet it looks like, shooting for par and what would end up as -9.

Perry pars 13, believe he 3-putted.

ESPN.com current headline on the story
Quote:
Lefty and Tiger are engaging in a duel for the ages at Augusta. Will one wear another green jacket?

One of 'em is two strokes back of the leader, the other is three strokes back.
How about talking about Perry & Campbell, or even Cabrera, instead?

Jon, you're not really surprised are you?

Mickelson bogeys to finish at -9. Poor job by him.

You're in advertising and you're asking this?

Depends upon whether that espn.com front page is supposed to have news or pull viewers short term. In this instance, I'd say they're just as well off to have the leaders in the headline, or at least to say "Tiger & Left try to chase down the leaders".

Angel with a big birdie drop.

Sick shot by Perry, at -14 and 2 up. For anyone following who didn't see, he rolled his tee shot to about a foot from the cup.

Every time I hear the name Kenny Perry, I start thinking about that "I Kissed a Girl" song.

I'm now actively rooting against Kenny Perry.

Perry hits his tee shot on 18 into the sand. Campbell missed a birdie putt up ahead that would've tied them up.

A 3 man playoff sounds good here.

well that was some impressive choke jobs by Mickelson, Woods, Perry and Campbell there too on the playoff hole.

And Dustin Johnson looked like he was on his way to a horrible final round, six over for the day after 12, he then eagled 13, eagled the par 4 14th, and birdied 15 and parred in from there to at least get back to a respectable +1 for the day, -1 for the tournament. Nice week for the Masters rookie

I love Phil! I'm really impressed at what he did today...yes he missed a makable eagle on 15 and a birdie on 17 but the shot on 7 was amazing. He played in the group with Tiger and he beat him. It wasn't good enough to win this tournament but I'm sure it'll help his confidence from here on out.

#11 was the hole that killed him...+3 for the tournament. It wasn't today that lost it for Phil it was Thursday. Tons of people went low...the course was ripe for the taking and he shot a 73.

Kenny Perry and the Miami Redhawks... 2 choke jobs for the ages this weekend.

Will anyone remember Perry's shot on 16 two years from now?

Not since he didn't win...and that's a shame because it was one hell of a shot.

I was talking with someone at work this morning about Tiger and Phil's run. We were wondering if they were closer to the leaders (only 1 or 2 holes ahead) if that would have made an even bigger difference because the leaders really didn't start playing good until Tiger and Phil were off the course.

Oh well...still a great tournament.
