interest in special NFL Pick'em pool (survivor style)
With the beginning of preseason football and our FF draft this past Saturday, I'm really in the mood to sign up for a bunch of NFL games, pick'em style or not (see my probabilityfootball thread). I usually play in 4 to 5 of these every season and if I can play with people from here, then it's all for the best.
I was thinking about starting a Survivor style pool over at Yahoo. It would be a pick'em game, with confidence points (with or without spread) in which the bottom "x" player (in terms of points in the week, not total points) gets kicked out every week. That "x" would depend on how many players we have to start the season. If we can get to the max, which is 50 players, then the bottom 3 players stop playing each week, dropping the number of players every week, until only 2 remain in week 17 to crown the winner of the whole season... So my big question is this: is there any interest in this kind of pool around here? Tell me in here if you would like to sign in. FM
