Freaky Monday

While switching back and forth between the Chiefs/Packers and Royals/White Sox, this is what I have seen tonight:

A baseball game with more scoring (19 runs through 8 1/2) than the football game (3 field goals).
The White Sox hit Aaron Guile in the first. In the bottom of the inning, Runelvys Hernandez threw three harmless pitches to Frank Thomas before Tony Pena sprinted to the mound and gestured wildly. Hernandez proceeded to drill Thomas with the next pitch, prompting a warning from the ump.
Two game delays while Kansas City players where taken off the field on stretchers (Willie Jones, Michael Tucker).
A football game rained out.
A pitcher and manager ejected after the pitcher hit a guy in the sixth with his team down 9-6 with a runner at third and one out.
And, finally, a White Sox hitter strikes out on a pitch that hit him. Yes, he started to swing, but when didn't hold up as the pitch drilled him.

There's another inning to go in the Royals game. I can only guess that in the bottom of the ninth Magglio Ordonez will peel back the skin off his face to reveal that he is actually Marmel.
