Historic Roster Draft ?

Why does improting the draft file lead to different ratings?

In my league (1981) I don't even see Joe Montana. So I re-imported the draft files and restarted saved games. Sometimes Joe is up top of league and sometimes he is the 8th or 10th rated QB?

This also happens with other draft imports. Is this file dynamic each time its imported?

Thanks

Yes, there's a hidden rating that could be the "X-factor" which determines how his visibile ratings varies from different games. In Joe's case, I think the X-factor is set quite high, which would mean he could bust one time, or be superstar another time.

John Riggins is an example of the opposite type, with a low X-factor. He's very good in almost every game, I believe.
