"Strippers, Alcohol Linked to SDSU Probe"
This headline at ESPN cracks me up. Read literally, I would expect an article about a wild party thrown by the people who are probing SDSU. I haven't read it yet, but I'm guessing that's not the angle the headline suggests.

Not really, just some of the staff taking the kids out to party on the road. No one really cares about rules much anymore so what does it matter?

Anrhy,
If the giving of gifts is consensual (coach wanted to give and player wanted to accept) how can they get away with having a rule preventing said activity? Ah... maybe they should begin conducting these activities in the bedroom.

When I was living in Hawaii a few years back they had pretty much the same headline for a high school team. St Louis High (traditionally a USA Today Top 5 power) had a game in Las Vegas (great place to take high school kids for a sporting event, especially for a Catholic school) and one thing led to another. Something to do with strippers in hotel rooms, the usual thing nowadays. I think Timmy Chang was the QB on that team.
